How to Get Motivated to Work Out





It's been quite some time since I have been to the gym. Still adjusting to my sophomore year, I have had every excuse not to go work out. However, this week I have been really productive in regards to school, so there is no excuse to skip today!

Here are my tips to get motivated:



Music! 
You don't need some fancy schmancy playlist downloaded on your phone or iPod. I just use Pandora's Pop Fitness Radio to set the mood! They always play upbeat music to get you going and keep you moving!

Prepare
Set out your workout clothes the night before so you are set and ready to go! If you're going to go running, make sure you have your running shoes! Going to play basketball? Don't forget your basketball! Make sure your ready for your workouts! Having everything ready will get you motivated.

Go with a friend
Everything is better with friends! So go find yourself a workout buddy and motivate each other! Send each other fitspiration pictures and schedule a workout time within your day! Encourage each other and go about your journey together!


Think of the Results
Start Now. Today. A year from now, you're going to wish you started today! Think of how much better you'll feel in your own body! You will be a day closer to your goals when you get off the couch and GO!

Shopping!
Every time I buy new workout bras or shorts, I feel more motivated to get out and show it off! I go to Marshalls or sometimes Forever 21 to get cheap workout clothes. Ya know, being a college student and all....



Enjoy it!
It doesn't have to be torture or boring... Go to your neighborhood or college gym and go swimming! Rockclimbing! Biking! Canoeing! Go run outside if you don't like the treadmill, or simply go walking with a friend and explore. Any workout is better than no workout at all...

So get up, get out, and get going! Enjoy it and Love yourself!
